Forbes Place has been commended by the Aberdeen Society of Architects

We’re pleased to announce that Forbes Place has won another award!

The Aberdeen Society of Architects (ASA) have awarded Forbes Place a highly commended prize during the 2017 ASA Design Awards. We received the commendation in the ‘Residential’ category, and are thrilled to have been recognised by local architects!

Highly commended award

The independent judging panel of 3 Scottish architectural experts praised Forbes Place’s landscape setting and the reduced impact of parking.

The four residential blocks at Stoneywood have been built with underground parking, allowing us to meet local planning requirements, with no impact on public spaces. These features are of direct benefit to all our residents; with free parking included for each apartment plus communal gardens to share and enjoy.

With around 200 members, the ASA represents architects across the North-east. The society has been active for over a century, promoting the interests of architects and architecture in the region.

Gavin Wyley, our managing director of Dandara in Scotland, said:

Forbes Place is a pioneering development for the Aberdeen and Scottish property industry and to have this recognition from architects in the local area is an honour.
